This is the most public room in this Andalusian style courthouse, the only one in the United States. It is used for weddings, law school graduation ceremonies, and other events, yet is so well preserved that the drapes and leather seats are original to the building. The room is so infamously difficult to photograph that it causes much gnashing of teeth and rending of garments in the professional photography community. What you see here is over 180 degrees with not a tourist in sight even thought the photographer did not have exclusive use of the room (note the open door on the left). He worked around the tourists. Because of all this, I was blown away when I saw this image, and will be the first to use the greeting cards I ordered from Fineartamerica.
